Saravia Law

Family, Individual and LBGQT+ Immigration Representation For The Boston Metro Area

For Me, Immigration Law Is Personal

I’m Elmer Saravia, the founding attorney of Saravia Law in Arlington, Massachusetts. I focus my practice almost exclusively on immigration law. Why? Because I care about helping others overcome barriers and achieve their dreams.

Immigration law is personal to me because I’m an immigrant myself. Born in Guatemala, I came to the U.S. as a toddler and have made my home here ever since. I know firsthand the many obstacles, uncertainties and stressors involved in the immigration process. In working with you, it’s my goal to help shoulder those burdens, walking beside you through every stage in the process.

I speak Spanish and Portuguese. In addition to immigration law, I also provide guidance on divorce and business law matters.

How I Work

I’m committed to treating every client with respect and dignity. That means you can expect me to communicate with you in an honest and reliable manner. I’ll keep you informed of all developments in your immigration case. You can turn to me anytime with concerns or questions. You’ll also find that I’m friendly, relatable and down-to-earth. My goal is to be not only your lawyer, but also a trusted adviser, advocate, ally and friend.

A Safe Space For Those In The LGBTQ+ Community

Navigating immigration issues is tricky enough. For those in the LGBTQ+ community, finding a lawyer who understands you and the unique challenges you face can be all the more difficult.

As a nonbinary individual who uses xe/xer/xers pronouns, I get it. I understand the hurdles you may be facing in all areas of your life. Here, you will find a safe place – a place where you will be heard with empathy and compassion as well as an open mind and open heart.
